Report: Vietnam Diagnoses and Regulatory Assessment of Small and micro forest Enterprises in the Mekong Region

The study assesses the preparedness of small and micro enterprises (SmEs) in Vietnam’s forest sector for changes in market structure due to increased enforcement of requirements for legality veri cation. It makes recommendations on how reforms and other mechanisms can be developed to improve the productivity, competitiveness and revenue of SmEs.

It also recommends actions to mitigate potential negative impacts caused by shifts in market structure and the future implementation of the European Union-Vietnam Voluntary Partnership Agreement on forest law enforcement, governance and trade.

With support by the European Forest Institute (EFI), NEP Con and Forest Trends have completed the diagnoses and regulatory assessment of SmEs in the Mekong Region. Go Viet would like to share you the full report
